Leah Szumita

Leah Szumita is a highly experienced nursing professional with a strong background in clinical trial support and education. Currently serving as Senior Director of the Clinical Trial Support Center at Blood Cancer United since April 2025, Leah previously held similar roles at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from February 2018 to September 2025. Leah has also contributed to academia as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Rhode Island, Northeastern University, and Emmanuel College. Prior nursing experience includes positions at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Mount Auburn Hospital. Leah holds a Master of Science in Nursing from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Anselm College.
