Melissa Sorochinsky

Melissa Sorochinsky (Lambert) SHRM-SCP is a seasoned professional in HR strategy and change management with significant experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of People Strategy & Planning at Blood Cancer United since November 2024, Melissa previously held the position of Senior Director of Change Management at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from May 2017 to November 2024, where expertise in organizational change management and digital transformation was applied. Prior roles at the American Heart Association included various directorial positions focused on change management and campaign excellence, while earlier experience included development roles at the Arthritis Foundation and SIRVA Relocation. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from The University of Toledo, earned between 1999 and 2003.
