Shannon Blake

Shannon Blake currently serves as the Director of Philanthropy for Blood Cancer United, focusing on collaboration with philanthropists in the central time zone to advance blood cancer research and enhance patient and family support. As a Co-Founder of GetKnit Events, Shannon promotes local businesses through interactive events that encourage community engagement. In previous roles at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Shannon advanced cancer cure efforts as Regional Advancement Director for the Upper Plains Region and Advancement Director for the MN/ND/SD Chapter. Shannon's experience also includes managing large-scale events at LivingSocial, assisting marketing initiatives at Willbros, and providing event support for LeadDog Marketing. Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Business from The University of Kansas.
