Jean Behaghel

Jean Behaghel has a diverse work experience. From 2020 onwards, they have been a PhD candidate in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at EPFL. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Scientific Officer at Bloom Biorenewables starting in 2018. They also completed a Master Project at EPFL from March 2018 to July 2018. Before that, Jean Behaghel worked as an R&D Intern at Firmenich from September 2017 to February 2018. They also held positions as a Student Assistant at EPFL from September 2017 to January 2018, and at Université catholique de Louvain from January 2016 to June 2016. Jean Behaghel completed a summer internship at ENZYBEL International S.A. in August 2015.

From 2007 to 2013, Jean attended Collège du Christ-Roi, where they obtained their Secondary Education degree.

From 2013 to 2016, Jean pursued a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering at Université catholique de Louvain.

In 2013, Jean also obtained a certification in "Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal" from KU Leuven.

From 2016 to 2018, Jean pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
