James Tran

James Tran joined Bloom Burton & Co. as an Analyst in April 2021. James is responsible for conducting scientific and commercial due diligence, and strategy consulting for biotechnology and healthcare companies.

Previously, James worked as an Associate Product Manager at BenchSci, a machine learning-assisted experimental design company, and as a Contract Scientific Consultant at Bloom Burton.

James completed his PhD in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, specializing in gene editing, cell biology, and cancer genetics, and completed his Bachelor of Medical Science in Microbiology and Immunology at Western University.
