Calvin L. has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Calvin'smost recent position is as a Principal Engineer in Safety and International Compliance at Bloom Energy, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, Calvin worked at Omron Automation - Americas as a Senior Compliance Engineer from 2018 to 2023. Calvin was responsible for establishing and maintaining global regulatory compliance for industrial robots.

Before joining Omron Automation - Americas, Calvin worked at Intertek as a Sr. Project Engineer from 2017 to 2018, where they conducted regulatory compliance and product safety evaluations in the semiconductor industry. Prior to that, they were a Senior Test Engineer at TUV Rheinland of North America from 2012 to 2017, performing regulatory compliance testing and managing multiple projects.

Calvin also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Entegris, where they worked from 2005 to 2012. In this role, they designed and tested industrial systems used in the semiconductor industry, worked closely with customers, and led prototype projects.

Early in their career, Calvin worked as an Engineering Assistant/Junior Draftsman at Stetson Engineers from 2001 to 2003, where they created design simulation models of water distribution systems.

With their extensive background in compliance engineering, product safety evaluations, and mechanical design, Calvin has developed a strong understanding of regulatory standards and a track record of successful project management.

Calvin L. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1999 to 2003. Calvin also obtained a certification as a Functional Safety Engineer from TÜV Rheinland Group in December 2019.
