Martyn Sexton

Martyn Sexton has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Martyn is currently the Head of Finance at SNFL Group since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Associate Director, Financial Control at Freetrade from January 2022 to April 2022. Before joining Freetrade, Martyn worked at Secret Escapes, where they held various positions including Head of Accounting from March 2021 to December 2021, Senior Finance Manager from October 2019 to March 2021, and Finance Manager from March 2016 to October 2019. Martyn began their career at EY in 2010, where they held multiple roles such as Assistant Manager from October 2014 to March 2016, Qualified Executive from September 2013 to October 2014, PQ Executive from January 2013 to August 2013, and Associate from September 2010 to December 2012.

Martyn Sexton completed their education in a progressive manner. Martyn started by obtaining their GCSEs and A-Levels at St. Columba's College from 2000 to 2007. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics at The University of Sheffield from 2007 to 2010. Martyn then furthered their education by completing the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) program at BPP from 2010 to 2013, becoming a Chartered Accountant. Additionally, they received the Sheffield Graduate Award in 2010 from the University of Sheffield.
