Katie Schafer

Katie Schafer is a highly skilled medical professional and public servant with extensive experience in pediatrics and community governance. Currently serving as a City Commissioner for the City of Birmingham, Michigan since November 2021, Katie has also been practicing as a Pediatrician at Bloom Pediatrics since January 2014. Prior experience includes working as a Pediatrician at Mali & Mali Pediatrics from August 2010 to December 2013. Katie holds a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (2003-2007) and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan (1998-2002).
