Dr. Arun Hampapur

Dr. Arun Hampapur has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Dr. Arun currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Bloom Value Corporation since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at IBM for over two decades, holding multiple director-level roles. From September 2016 to September 2020, they were the Director of Cognitive Hybrid Cloud Solutions, leading a team that designed and delivered cognitive hybrid cloud solutions for large enterprises. From June 2012 to September 2016, they served as the Director of Commerce Research, where they led R&D teams working on digital commerce solutions across multiple industries. Before that, they held the position of Distinguished Engineer and Director of Business Analytics and Math Sciences from August 2009 to June 2012, where they created industry solutions based on advanced data science and optimization. Dr. Hampapur has also held other roles at IBM, including CTO of Physical Security and Manager of the Computer Vision Group. Their career began at PSI Data Systems as a Hardware Engineer in 1987.
