Sonya Silva

Sonya Silva is an experienced Senior UX Researcher at Bloom Works Public Benefit LLC, where a focus on human-centered design enhances government service delivery through discovery sprints and actionable insights. Prior experience includes serving as Engagement Manager at MLSE LaunchPad, where community engagement strategies enriched youth and community experiences, and as a Consultant with the United Nations, researching youth-related issues. Additional roles encompass operations management for volunteer placements in Sri Lanka, coordinating evaluation processes at Peace Child International, and conducting research on various social issues during academic affiliations. Sonya holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology and a collaborative program in Women's Health from the University of Toronto, along with an H.B.A. in International Development Studies and Anthropology from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
