Karl Evers-Hillstrom

Karl Evers-Hillstrom began their work experience as a Features Editor at The New Paltz Oracle in August 2015, where they stayed until February 2016. Karl then worked as a Staff Writer for the Legislative Gazette from January 2016 to May 2016. In September 2016, Karl joined The Globe as a News Reporter and remained with the company until October 2018. During that time, they also served as a Money-In-Politics Reporter at the Center for Responsive Politics from October 2018 to June 2021. Karl then became a Business and Lobbying Reporter at The Hill in June 2021 and left in May 2023. Currently, Karl is working as a Legislative Analyst at Bloomberg Government, starting in May 2023.

Karl Evers-Hillstrom pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from SUNY New Paltz between 2012 and 2016.
