Yonatan Hmariam

Yonatan Hmariam has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Network Monitoring Specialist at Amtrak from July 2010 to August 2011. Yonatan then worked as an Associate Manager at the American Diabetes Association from July 2011 to August 2014. Following that, Yonatan joined Bloomberg BNA as an IT Specialist, where they managed Conference and AV rooms, handled installation and troubleshooting tasks, and was responsible for workstation backup and data recovery from November 2014 to November 2017.

In 2017, Yonatan joined Bloomberg Government as an Automation Engineer, where they organized and maintained an automated deployment pipeline for Mobile apps. Yonatan also provided technical documentation for operational tasks and contributed to the team's task efficiency. Yonatan was later promoted to the position of Senior Automation Engineer, leading deployment processes and collaborating with team members to design, create, and maintain various cloud services and tools such as VPC, Security Group, EC2, Cloud Watch, EBS Snapshot, IAM, and Elastic load balancing. Yonatan also led QA efforts for an API migration project, ensuring site and API reliability for over 10 Microservices in EKS.
