Allison Schrager

Allison Schrager is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in writing and research. Currently serving as a columnist for Bloomberg LP since May 2021 and as a Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute since January 2020, Schrager also co-founded LifeCycle Finance Partners, LLC in December 2015, where the role of Co-Founder and Partner has been held. Previous experience includes a role as a columnist for Quartz from June 2015 to December 2019 and as a contributor to Bloomberg Businessweek from July 2014 to February 2015, focusing on risk-related topics. Schrager holds a PhD in Economics from Columbia University and an MA (Hons) in Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
