Derrick Flakoll

Derrick Flakoll is a Policy Associate for North America at Bloomberg, with previous experience as a Policy Associate at Hyphen and as a Startup Ecosystem Development Consultant for 500 Startups. Derrick served as a Research Assistant to Bruce Schneier at Harvard's Belfer Center and was a Course Assistant for Nancy Gibbs at Harvard Kennedy School, where Derrick is also a graduate student. Derrick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy and Peace from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned from 2012 to 2016, and pursued further education at Harvard Kennedy School from 2019 to 2022.
