Divya Balji is the Managing Editor for Breaking News Americas at Bloomberg LP, where they oversee news coverage in the US, Canada, and Latin America. Previously, Divya held various leadership roles at Bloomberg, including Interim Managing Editor and Team Leader for Equities Americas, managing teams that provided critical market coverage during significant events. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Divya served as the Global Mining Sector Head and Canada Bureau Chief at Mergermarket, where they led coverage of the mining sector and managed reporter training. Divya's educational background includes pursuing a BSc in Economics and Mathematics at the University of Toronto.
