Javier Blas

Javier Blas is an accomplished journalist specializing in energy and commodities. Since March 2015, Javier has been an Opinion Columnist and Chief Energy Correspondent at Bloomberg LP, focusing on significant trends in the industry, particularly regarding Big Oil and the geopolitics of energy and food. Prior to Bloomberg, Javier served as Africa Editor at the Financial Times, managing sub-Saharan Africa coverage and founding the FT Africa Summit.
