Marek Ciglan

Marek Ciglan is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer and Research Scientist at Bloomberg LP since August 2018, specializing in predictive analytics and large-scale machine learning in online advertising during previous tenure as a Data Scientist at Magnetic. Ciglan holds extensive research experience from the Institute of Informatics at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, focusing on information retrieval, semantic search, and graph data management from 2004 to 2016, and has also contributed as a PostDoctoral researcher at NTNU. Additionally, Ciglan served as a Lecturer on graph algorithms and graph theory at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies. Marek Ciglan earned a PhD in Computer Science from Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave and a master's degree from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave.
