Tom Metcalf

Tom Metcalf is an experienced journalist and managing editor with a robust background in finance and investing. Currently serving as Managing Editor of EMEA Finance & Investing at Bloomberg since June 2012, Tom oversees a team of approximately 30 reporters and editors across the EMEA region. Prior roles at Bloomberg include leading teams focused on UK and Middle Eastern finance coverage and serving as a senior reporter covering wealth in EMEA. Earlier career experiences include working as a features writer for Financial Times Business, a business and economics reporter for BBC, and as an auditor at Deloitte UK. Tom holds a Financial Journalism MA from City St George’s, University of London, and a degree in English Literature from Durham University.
