Lauren Patterson, Ed. D. has a long and varied career in education. Lauren began their career in 2006 as an Adjunct Professor in Education at Neumann University, and an Adjunct Professor in Education and Psychology at Cabrini College. In 2004, they began working at the Center for Families and Relationships as a Marriage and Family Therapist, where they compiled biopsychosocial assessments and developed appropriate treatment plans, assessed family needs and provided appropriate therapeutic tools, consulted with staff as a child behavioral specialist, and directed a Therapeutic Summer Camp Program. Lauren also worked at the Lenape Valley Foundation as a Behavior Specialist. In 2006, they began working at the School District of Springfield Township as the Director of Support Services, Supervisor of Student Services, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Emotional Support Teacher. In 2014, they became an Educational Consultant. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at BloomBoard, Inc. as a District Partnerships & Account Representative.

Lauren Patterson, Ed. D has an extensive education history. Lauren completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) from Temple University in 2019, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. In 2010, they obtained a Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. From 2003-2005, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) from La Salle University in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family. From 2001-2003, they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from La Salle University in Education. From 1997-2001, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from La Salle University in Elementary and Special Education. Lauren also attended Wissahickon High School. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Temple University in 2014, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Educational Leadership and Administration from University of Pennsylvania in 2010, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Elementary Education K-6 and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Mentally and Physically Handicapped K-12 from La Salle University in 2001, and Crisis Prevention Institute Certified Trainer in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention from Crisis Prevention Institute in 2007.
