Sherell Burton

Sherell Burton, LMSW, is a dedicated social work professional with extensive experience in clinical therapy and school social work. Currently, Sherell serves as a Clinical Therapist at Positive Inspiration Counseling, LLC, since July 2022, and as a School Social Worker with Bloomfield Hills Schools since August 2020. Previously, Sherell worked as a Clinical Therapist at Oakland Psychological Clinic from January 2019 to June 2022, and held several school social work positions at University Prep Science and Math High School from August 2013 to August 2020, and Old Redford Academy from August 2011 to July 2013. The career began with a role as a Wraparound Facilitator at Spectrum Child and Family Services from June 2010 to August 2011. Sherell earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Family and Community Services from Michigan State University.
