Ammar Subei

Ammar Subei is a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced software systems. At Bloomfield Robotics since February 2020, Ammar has designed and implemented a modular graphical user interface for a handheld camera system, alongside creating ROS RViz plugins and thorough documentation. Prior to this role, Ammar also worked at Bloomfield Robotics from January 2019 to August 2019. Earlier experience includes a role at Autobon AI, where Ammar developed artificial data generation software to enhance deep learning algorithms and created automated data annotation tools. Additionally, Ammar served on the Chicago Engineering Design Team, first as Secretary and then as Head of Electrical Engineering, where contributions included designing multi-layered PCBs for robots and coordinating STEM outreach efforts. Ammar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, completed in 2019.
