Alexander Ginzburg began their work experience at AT&T as a Senior Programmer/Analyst from 1998 to 2000. Alexander then moved on to Random House where they served as a Programmer Analyst from 2000 to 2001. Alexander continued their career at DataPeer Solutions as a Software Engineer from 2001 to 2003 and then at InfoDataNY as a Software Engineer from 2003 to 2004. Alexander joined Experian Cheetahmail as a Software Engineer from 2004 to 2005 and later became a Software Engineering Manager from 2005 to 2010. Alexander then transitioned to Proclivity Systems as a Software Infrastructure Team Lead in 2010. Alexander further pursued roles at Tablet Inc as a Software Infrastructure Engineer and then as a Software Development Team Lead / Half Stack engineer from 2010 to 2015. Alexander subsequently worked at Refinery29, Inc. as an Engineering Lead, Architecture and SRE from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Alexander started at Seva as a Founding Engineer and eventually became the Director of Engineering until Seva was acquired by Bloomfire in June 2023. Following the acquisition, Alexander continued as the Director of Engineering at Bloomfire from 2023.

Alexander Ginzburg began their education at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in 1994, studying Engineering with a focus on Machine Building. In 1996, they continued their studies at The Chubb Institute of Technology, specializing in Computer Programming. Alexander then pursued Computer Science at Brooklyn College from 1997 to 1999. In 2000, they furthered their education at Oracle University, completing the Enterprise DBA Part I: Architecture and Administration course.
