Michael (Mike) Spanos was named Chief Executive Officer of Bloomin’ Brands and a member of the Board of Directors in September 2024.
As CEO, he is responsible for developing and executing the company's long-term objectives, growth strategies, and initiatives for its portfolio of casual and fine-dining brands, which include Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, and Aussie Grill.
He joined the company from Delta Air Lines, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. His consumer-focused career included serving as CEO and President at Six Flags Entertainment and more than 25 years at PepsiCo and the Pepsi Bottling Group in various roles including President Greater China, CEO of Asia Middle East and North Africa sector, and Chief Customer Officer of North American Beverages.

OSI Restaurant Partners, LLC (OSI) is the Company's primary operating entity. New Private Restaurant Properties, LLC (PRP), an indirect subsidiary of the Company, leases the Company-owned restaurant properties to OSI's subsidiaries. As of December 25, 2016, the Company owned and operated 1, 276 restaurants and franchised 240 restaurants across 48 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and 20 countries.
