Bloomingdale School of Music has been providing access to high quality music education on the Upper West Side for more than 50 years. The school reflects a vibrant community of people dedicated and passionate about music and the extensive ways it can expand, uplift, and enrich our lives.

Situated in a beautiful, historic brownstone, Bloomingdale hosts over 600 students and families each week, participating in classes, taking private lessons on more than 20 different instruments, and attending our Free Concert Series throughout the year.

As BSM moves into the next 50 years, we are deepening our connection to the community. We envision a world where music education is available and accessible by anyone who has interest in learning, listening, or playing music.
