Denise Magid

Denise Magid has a diverse and extensive work experience in the retail industry. Denise is currently the Chief Merchant at Bloomingdale's, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the EVP, GMM RTW, Center Core, Concessions, Outlets from 2019 to 2023.

Before joining Bloomingdale's, Denise had their own consulting firm, DVMagid Consulting, where they worked as the Principal from 2016 to 2018.

Their experience also includes serving as the Chief Merchant at INTERMIX from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they held various roles at Saks Fifth Avenue, including SVP, GMM Women's RTW from 2014 to 2015, VP, DMM from 2010 to 2014, Senior Buyer, Contemporary Sportswear from 2005 to 2010, and Buyer, Day and Evening Dresses from 2003 to 2005.

Denise began their career at Lord & Taylor as a Buyer, working with Evening Dresses and Separates from 2000 to 2003.

Denise Magid completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance and Marketing at NYU Stern School of Business from 1995 to 1998.
