Director, SEO at Bloomingdale's

Tom Blackett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tom recently joined Bloomingdale's as the Director of SEO in 2021. Prior to that, Tom worked at iCrossing from 2014 to 2021, where they held various positions including Associate Director of SEO, Senior SEO Strategist, and SEO Strategist. In these roles, they led the SEO strategy for major national fashion retail brands, conducted analysis to improve website SEO, and managed teams of junior resources and copywriters. Before iCrossing, Tom worked at Visa Bureau as a Marketing Manager from 2007 to 2014, where they were responsible for improving site traffic and managing PPC campaigns. Tom also worked as an Online Editor, where they created optimized content and established a style guide. Earlier in their career, Tom worked at McDermott Publishing as an Editor, where they wrote and edited trade publications, and at Virgin Student as a Film Editor, where they wrote and edited film reviews and conducted interviews.

Tom Blackett's education history includes a BA degree in Literature & Film from the University of Essex. Prior to that, they attended Solihull Sixth Form College where they studied Media Studies, English Language, History, and Critical Thinking for their high school degree.
