Zach Freeman

Zach Freeman has an extensive career in education, currently serving as the School Principal at Bloomington Public Schools District 87 since August 2010, where previous roles included Instructional Coach and 5th Grade Teacher. Key contributions at Washington Elementary include Data Days Coordinator, Building Leadership Team Member, and Safety Patrol Leader. Additionally, Zach has been involved in various technology initiatives, serving on multiple committees and presenting at educational events. Prior to this, Zach taught at Ridgeview Elementary School and played basketball professionally for Phoenix Hagen GmbH. Zach holds a Master of Science in STEM Education & Leadership, a Master’s in Educational Administration & Foundations, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University, respectively.
