Luis Caballero has worked in the software engineering and testing industry for over 17 years. In 2004, they began their career as a Student Design Engineer at ATIS Solutions & Security, where they worked with embedded software and hardware PCB design. In 2007, they completed an internship at NXP Semiconductors, where they worked on SRAM memory test. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Prototype Engineer at Holst Centre, where they tested and developed embedded C/C++ software and MATLAB GUIs in combination with hardware prototypes. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at BRACE Automotive, where they were involved in the development phase of a software product with a test development mindset. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer/Analyst at Fourtress, contributing to the quality of the software projects involved. Finally, in 2022, they began their current role as a Software Verification Engineer at Bloomlife Inc, where they are a key member of the Software Engineering team, contributing to the development of innovative products for maternal and fetal health.

Luis Caballero obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Universidad de Granada between 1998 and 2003. Luis then obtained a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Granada between 2003 and 2008. In 2013, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2015, they obtained the ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2019, they obtained the Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst (CTAL) certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2021, they obtained the Advanced Level Test Automation Engineering (CTAL) certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
