Ruben Buijs

Ruben Buijs is an experienced professional in the floral and horticultural industry, currently serving as Buying Manager at bloomon since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ruben held the position of Key-Accountmanager for Eastern Europe at The Floral Connection from February 2016 to September 2021, focusing on flower distribution in the region. Ruben also worked at Van Klaveren Plant (Hortensia) from March 2011 to January 2016, where responsibilities included working with a unique assortment of garden plants and propagation material. Additionally, Ruben operated a small-scale breeding venture for a new hydrangea variety from February 2014 to December 2015 and served as a Junior Account Manager at De Gooijer International BV from September 2009 to February 2011. Ruben holds a degree in Agriculture & Management from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, earned between 2006 and 2009.
