Ignacio Marini is an experienced professional in the field of sports coaching and education. Currently serving as a Football Coach at Bloomsbury Football since February 2024, Ignacio previously held a similar role at Shots Foundation from October 2023 to December 2023. Ignacio's background also includes a significant position as Senior Special Education Manager at Success Academy Charter Schools between August 2021 and September 2023, along with a role as Sprint Associate. Earlier experience encompasses working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Debbie's Playce and as a Special Education Teaching Assistant at Wellspring Educational Services Inc. Ignacio is pursuing a Master of Science in Professional Development in Sports Coaching at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, with a foundational Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Binghamton University. Ignacio completed secondary education at Scarsdale Senior High School.

Bloomsbury Football Foundation is a registered charity that is changing the game for young people in London, using the power of football to improve mental and physical health, foster social cohesion and teach valuable life skills to over 5,000 young people a week. Bloomsbury’s mission is to provide every young person in London with the opportunity to access high-quality football training, and the charity has a financial model that means no one is turned away, regardless of background. Currently, 50% of Bloomsbury participants receive free school meals, 55% are from ethnic minority backgrounds, 1,500+ girls play with Bloomsbury every week and 95% of participants feel more confident & happier after playing with Bloomsbury. We currently operate in the London Boroughs of Camden, Westminster, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Brent, Barnet, City of London and Tower Hamlets with the ambition to scale across London and beyond.
