Andrew Down

Andrew Down is a seasoned business systems analyst with over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since February 2020, Andrew also operates as a freelance consultant and project manager at AD Consulting since February 2017, providing specialized IT solutions for the publishing sector. Previous roles include Business Systems Manager at Pan Macmillan, where Andrew managed significant projects such as ISBN 13 adoption and eBook integration, and also worked as a project manager for the implementation of the PIM title management system. Earlier in the career, Andrew served as a production controller and a senior sales assistant at Ottakar's plc. Andrew holds a Master's degree in Publishing from the University of Oxford and a BA Hons in Combined Studies from the University of Southampton.
