Barney Duly

Barney Duly is an accomplished publishing professional with extensive experience in rights management, currently serving as Children’s Rights Director at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since November 2022. Previously, Barney held the position of Rights Director at Orion Publishing Group and spent several years as Director of Rights at Laurence King Publishing Ltd. Additional roles include International Sales Manager at becker&mayer!, Head of Foreign Rights at Carlton Books, and Foreign Rights Manager at Chrysalis Books Ltd. Earlier in Barney's career, positions as Foreign Rights Executive at Carlton Books and Gaia Books Ltd provided a strong foundation in the industry. Barney is a graduate of the University of Bristol, earning a First Class BA in Modern Languages in 1998.
