Jenny Ridout

Jenny Ridout is an experienced publishing professional currently serving as a Board Trustee at Yale University Press and as the Executive Director and Managing Director of the Non-Consumer Division at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc since September 2004. In this role, Jenny oversees Academic, Professional, Digital Resources, and Specialist publishing divisions, having also acted as the Executive Sponsor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from November 2020 to May 2023. Previously, Jenny held various positions at Bloomsbury, including Global Head of Academic Publishing and Editorial Director for the Drama publishing division. Prior to this, Jenny worked at Elsevier for a decade, concluding as the International Publishing Director for Focal Press, managing editorial teams in both the UK and the US, focusing on professional and special interest media technology publishing.
