Joanna Vallance has extensive work experience in sales and marketing roles in the publishing industry. Joanna started their career at Letchworth Library as a Library Assistant and later worked at Glasgow University Library in the same role. Joanna also gained experience as a Writer for GO! Magazine. Joanna then moved on to Room Thirteen, where they served as an Editor, managing a team of writers and photographers and developing marketing strategies.

In 2007, Joanna worked as an English Language Assistant at Ursulinen and Kettenbruecke Gymnasien. Joanna joined Pan Macmillan as an International Sales Administrator and later became an International Sales and Marketing Executive.

Joanna's most recent role was at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, where they held several positions. Joanna started as an International Sales Executive and eventually became the Senior European Sales Manager. Currently, they are the Head of International Sales (Special Interest), responsible for direct sales and managing the International Sales Manager and agents for different regions.
