Tim Rutgers

Tim Rutgers has an extensive work experience history. Tim founded Bloqhouse Technologies in December 2016, where they created a cloud-based funding platform for fund managers and companies to raise capital efficiently. Tim also empowered investors through a digital experience. In February 2022, they founded MYL Ventures, an investment company focused on fintech companies. Tim'srole involved identifying and supporting emerging fintech companies to disrupt traditional financial services. Tim was also a Co-Initiator at De Trailblazers from August 2018 to February 2023, where they organized personal development programs centered around nature trails. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Tim worked at Air France-KLM as a Manager of Data Services, overseeing a team of engineers in developing commercial applications. Before that, they were a Management Trainee in Information Technology at KLM from April 2014 to March 2016.

Tim Rutgers' education history begins at Het Baarnsch Lyceum, where they attended from 1999 to 2005 and completed their Gymnasium degree with a focus on Nature and Health. Tim then went on to the University of Amsterdam, starting in 2006 and graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European Studies and Economy. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology at the same university, which they completed in 2010. Later, from 2011 to 2012, Tim attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Administration, specializing in Strategy & Organisation.
