Scott-Ashley Whiteley has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2011, they worked as a Post Production Editor while freelancing. From 2013 to 2020, Whiteley served as the Managing Director and Product Manager at Contrxst, a digital product design studio. During this time, they collaborated with ambitious brands to create apps, products, and services catering to the Gen Z market. In 2015, they joined G&G Productions as a Senior UX Designer, where they managed and built the Rage Festival website and app, executed digital marketing campaigns, and optimized performance based on insights. Whiteley also co-founded Münk Culture, a collective music event focused on creating unique experiences. Scott-Ashley fulfilled the roles of Co-Founder and Content Designer during their time there. In 2016, they became a Founding Partner and Mentor at BeYourLegacy, an organization supporting high-valued entrepreneurs. Their roles included Product Owner, Product Designer, UI Designer, Brand Manager, and Content Strategist. In 2020, Whiteley joined Nedbank as a Senior UX Designer before moving on to become a Senior UX Designer at The Times in 2021. Currently, they are a Managing Partner, Co-founder, and Executive Design Director at Blott.io, specializing in custom design and development in collaboration with clients to create world-class products.

Scott-Ashley Whiteley holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Boston College, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Post Production from Academy Of Sound Engineering between 2012 and 2014. Scott-Ashley'seducation history also includes a National Senior Certificate from St Benedict's College, which they achieved from 2004 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, Scott-Ashley has obtained several certifications, including Design Thinking and UX Design from The Interaction Design Foundation, and a Digital Marketing Diploma from Shaw Academy World's Largest Live Online Educator.
