Shane Bird

Shane Bird co-founded Blott.studio in February 2018 and served as the Head of Product. Shane joined Acquired.com in May 2019 as a Product Analyst and worked there until February 2021. Prior to that, Shane worked at howler, starting as an Information Technology Lead in January 2017, then transitioning to roles as a QA Engineer and a Product Analyst. Before joining howler, they worked as a Consultant at Creative Business Solutions from January 2015 to February 2017. Shane also has experience as a Bartender at Rat & Parrot from April 2013 to August 2014, and as the Jan Smuts House Committee Treasurer at Rhodes University from January 2013 to December 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Bartender at FRIAR TUCK from February 2011 to February 2013.

Shane Bird attended Rhodes University from 2012 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Science with a focus on Information Systems & Economics. Prior to that, they studied at Redhill School from 2007 to 2011 and completed their matriculation, covering subjects such as English, Afrikaans, Maths, Life Orientation, Business Studies, Biology, and Geography. In addition to their formal education, Shane has obtained certifications in Webflow, including Webflow Expert, Webflow Layouts Level 1, and Webflow Layouts Level 2. Shane has also completed a certification in Introduction to AML/CFT and CDD from international KYC.
