Raymond Barnhart

Raymond Barnhart has a diverse work experience in law enforcement and security roles. Raymond started their career in 1983 as a Police Officer with the Houston Police Department, where they worked in patrol and eventually became a Sergeant. In 2004, they were promoted to the role of Divisional Tactical Unit Sergeant, where they supervised officers and crime analysts. In 2006, they joined the Maryville Police Department, serving as a Police Officer and later as a School Resource Officer, where they conducted investigations, spoke in classrooms, and managed emergency plans. In 2016, Barnhart joined Solid Ground Security Specialties as a Certified Trainer and Security Assessment Specialist, conducting vulnerability assessments and providing training for security officers and handgun permits. Raymond is currently working as the Director of Security at Blount Memorial Hospital, since 2019.

Raymond Barnhart attended Conroe High School from 1978 to 1982. Raymond did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field during this time. In terms of additional certifications, they became a C.R.A.S.E. Instructor in April 2019 through the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) program. In September 2016, they received certification as a Certified Trainer from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. Additionally, in May 2016, they became a Security Assessment Specialist through the American Crime Prevention Institute. In February 2016, they obtained certification as an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor from the NRA (National Rifle Association). Finally, in February 2014, they became an A.L.I.C.E. Instructor through the ALICE Training Institute.
