Cody Avila

Cody Avila has a diverse work experience, starting from 2017 as a Barista at Starbucks. In this role, they anticipated customer and store needs and performed various tasks within the store. From 2020 to 2021, Cody worked as a Guest Advocate at Target, where they provided assistance to customers and built positive relationships through excellent service. Cody then transitioned into the field of software engineering, first joining General Assembly as a Software Engineering Fellow in 2022. There, they received immersive software engineering instruction and created multiple full-stack applications. Cody later became a Software Engineering Teacher Assistant, where they supported students and teachers in their learning processes. Currently, Cody is working as a Frontend Software Engineer at BLOX Digital, leveraging their technical skills to develop frontend solutions. Throughout their career, Cody has demonstrated their commitment to continual learning and providing support to others.
