Markus Schmieder

Markus Schmieder has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Markus started their career as a Trainee at UBS in 2008 and later worked as an In-House Consulting Assistant/Student employee at Credit Suisse in 2010. Markus then joined Commerzbank AG as an Intern in 2012. In 2014, they became an Economist at Wellershoff & Partners Ltd. Markus joined SIX in 2018 and held various positions, including Strategic Assistant to the Group CFO, Senior Strategic Planning Manager, and Head Group Strategy. Currently, they work at BLP Digital AG in Sales/Corporate Development.

Markus Schmieder began their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of St.Gallen. Markus attended the university from 2009 to 2012. Later, in 2013, they enrolled at The University of Hong Kong to pursue a Master of Science degree in Economics, which they completed in 2014.
