Zeeshan Merchant

Zeeshan Ali Merchant has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of employer branding, talent management, and communications planning. Zeeshan Ali currently holds the position of Senior Director - Employer Brand & Culture at Blu Ivy, where they have been since 2020. Before joining Blu Ivy, Zeeshan worked at Omnicom Media Group (MENA) as the People Team Director, leading the Talent & Culture Strategy for agencies OMD and Annalect MENA. Zeeshan Ali was also part of OMD's Global Talent Leadership team, where they played a key role in implementing various talent development and engagement programs. Prior to that, Zeeshan held various roles at OMD UAE, including HR Business Partner/Director, Senior Manager - Employee Engagement, Director - Communications Planning, and Associate Director - Communications Planning. Zeeshan Ali also gained experience as an Associate Media Director at BPG Maxus. Zeeshan started their career as an Administrative Assistant (Internship) at Anchor Advertising. Throughout their career, Zeeshan has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to creating a positive work culture.

Zeeshan Ali Merchant completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA degree in Marketing & Advertising from the American University in Dubai between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, Zeeshan has several certifications including a Certified Yoga Instructor certification from Kind Yoga By Heart in 2022, and various certifications in areas such as creating a culture of change, cultivating cultural competence and inclusion, diversity and inclusion, employee experience, employer branding, people analytics, and marketing communications obtained from different institutions.
