Nolan Pereira

Nolan Pereira has a diverse background in the Information Technology field. Nolan began their career in 2009 as a Product Manager at Diesse Inc., where they were responsible for complex troubleshooting on hardware, software, and connectivity issues, designing and maintaining a company website, and providing help desk support. In 2011, they joined the US Department of Homeland Security as a Transportation Security Officer, where they were responsible for preventing deadly or dangerous objects from being transported onto aircraft. In 2014, they joined Mount Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach as an Information Technology Analyst, where they supported a wide range of applications and administered user accounts, groups, computers, and printers within Active Directory. Also in 2014, they joined BLU Products as the Director of Information Technology, where they were responsible for control and authorization over all technology operations, reviewing and assessing procedures to align with established goals, and developing and implementing effective IT policies and systems.

Nolan Pereira obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Information Technology from Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing between 2004 and 2012. Nolan also holds a Certified ScrumMaster\u00ae CSM from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in August 2018, an A+ Certification from CompTIA, obtained in August 2013, and a PSM I from Scrum.org.
