Kim is a principal at Blu Venture Investors and serves on the Executive Committee and Innovations Investment Committee. He is a managing partner at Brilliant Keypoint Investments, LLC. Previously, he was chief business development officer at Pragmatics, Inc, a Federal IT services contractor. His expertise is company scaling, go-to-market strategy, and leadership. He managed software development and testing programs of more than 100 people. He is on the board or the BVI lead of 5 companies. He received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard and a Ph.D in Economics from UC Berkeley.
As an investor, Kim looks for companies with management teams that include business, sales, and technical background, as well as domain expertise and a passion to solve a business problem, with realistic, in depth go-to-market strategies and revenue projections.
