PK is a principal at Blu Venture Investors and serves on the Cyber Fund Investment Committee and Innovations Investment Committee. Malhotra is a seasoned, forward-thinking executive and investor and brings to BVI his extensive expertise in healthcare, IT, financial services and government contracting.
As Managing Partner of Tipping Point, PK directs all investments for the family office, including public traded stocks and derivatives, venture and angel investment funds, real estate and direct private company investments. PK also served as the COO of Optum Government, which provides healthcare services for federal and state customers within UnitedHealth Group, and CFO of Optum International. Before his time at Optum, PK was the COO and CFO of QSSI, a $100+ million enterprise specializing in customer software development and IT infrastructure that was acquired by UnitedHealth Group in 2012.
Prior to taking on executive leadership positions in startups and Fortune 100 companies, PK served as a leading equity research analyst covering financial and technology industries for a number of Wall Street firms, including Legg Mason, CIBC World Markets, and SG Cowen.
