Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior to this role, Chris served as a firmware engineer at the same company, contributing to the development of firmware and diagnostic tools. Previous experience includes working as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where electronic designs and repairs for educational devices were managed, as well as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and evaluations.
