Renée van der Wijden has over ten years of work experience, starting in 2011 as a Floor Staff at the Science Centre, Delft. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Student Assistant at TU Delft, assisting with workshops for the course 'Modelling' in Industrial Design Engineering. In 2012, they also completed an internship at Horizon Creative.
In 2015, Renée had two roles: an internship at Moog Inc. from February to April, and as a Graduate at Alten Nederland from May to June. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Software/Robotics Engineer at FTNON Delft.
In 2020, Renée joined the Dutch Ophthalmic Research Center as a Project Engineer, working until April 2022. Currently, they are a Software Developer at Blue10, starting in May 2022.
Renée van der Wijden obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanical Design from Delft University of Technology. This degree was completed between 2013 and 2016.
Prior to their master's degree, Renée completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Design Engineering, also at Delft University of Technology. Renée studied in this program from 2009 to 2013.
Additionally, Renée pursued a minor in Industrial and Product Design at Loughborough University from 2011 to 2012.
