Emily Wilhoit's work experience starts in 2008 with an internship at Balcom Agency, where they worked as an Advertising Intern, overseeing new projects and providing editing and proofreading support. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing Intern at the Fort Worth Convention & Visitor's Bureau. In 2010, they interned at Concentric Pharma Advertising, serving under an Account Executive and gaining experience in client relationship management. Emily also interned as a Communications Office Intern at Washington and Lee University, assisting in news gathering and press releases. In 2011, they joined CBS Interactive as an entry-level Account Representative, responsible for prospecting new business and creating media plans for Tech and News websites. Emily later became an Account Manager, collaborating with the sales team to develop revenue growth strategies. In 2013, they joined Blue Acorn iCi as a Sales Executive, assessing eCommerce leads and scoping out technical requirements for projects. Emily then progressed to roles such as Senior Business Development Manager, Head of Business Development, Director of Partnerships, and Vice President Of Strategic Alliances, before becoming the SVP of Partnerships in 2022. Currently, they are the Chief Marketing Officer at Blue Acorn iCi.
Emily Wilhoit attended Trinity Valley School from 1999 to 2007. Emily then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Spanish at Washington and Lee University from 2007 to 2011.
