Christopher Savvides

Christopher Savvides has extensive experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Christopher is currently working as a Regional Sales Manager at Blue Box Air, LLC, where they are responsible for promoting cutting edge technology to treat and disinfect HVAC coils. Prior to this role, they served as a Business Development Executive at the same company.

Before joining Blue Box Air, Christopher served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the National Restaurant Association starting in 2015. Additionally, they have been the Owner and Operator of Black Angus Restaurant & Catering since 1992. Christopher is experienced in catering functions of various sizes and excels in providing exceptional food and service.

Christopher also has experience as an Owner at Virginia Originals & Chesapeake Grill, a destination that offers Virginia-sourced foods, gifts, and crafts with a breathtaking view of the Chesapeake Bay. Christopher held this position from 2010 to 2017.

In terms of board and association roles, Christopher served as a Board Member on the Virginia Beach Health Services and Virginia Beach Advertising Advisory Committees. Christopher was the Chairman of the Virginia Restaurant Association in 2011 and the Chairman of the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association from 2008 to 2010. Christopher also served as the President of the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association from 1999 to 2004.

Christopher Savvides attended Norfolk Academy from 1973 to 1985. Following their graduation from Norfolk Academy, they enrolled at Hampden-Sydney College. From 1986 to 1989, Christopher Savvides pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Hampden-Sydney College.
