Leighann Daristotle Dvm

Leighann Daristotle (Hale) DVM, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Technical Services Vet at Blue Buffalo Co since November 2015. Prior to this role, Leighann owned Country Lane Consulting, providing scientific communications and advisory services to animal health clients from 2014 to November 2015. Leighann's extensive experience includes significant positions at Procter & Gamble, where responsibilities ranged from Scientific Communications Manager in Pet Care to Regulatory Claims Manager and Communications Development Manager, contributing to the creation of key publications in veterinary nutrition. Earlier roles also included Veterinary Communications Manager at The Iams Company and Associate Editor at the American Veterinary Medical Association. Educational qualifications include a DVM from The Ohio State University, an MS and PhD in Veterinary Physiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from West Virginia University.
