Dorys Evans

Dorys Evans is a dedicated wildlife care specialist currently employed at Penitentiary Glen Reservation since June 2023. With a strong background in animal care and management, Dorys has accumulated diverse experience through various roles, including zookeeper positions at both Nemacolin Wildlife and Lory Park Zoo, where responsibilities included enclosure maintenance and animal enrichment. Previous experience as an expo worker at Blue Canyon Kitchen Tavern showcases effective organizational skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Dorys has also held positions at Arby's and Cleveland Veterinary Clinic, providing customer service and clinical training, respectively. An educational foundation in Animal Science with a focus on Pre-Veterinary Studies from The University of Findlay supports this hands-on experience.
